Freeganism 101

I just started checking out the Freegan website, and there is information composting and sustainability. If you are interested in being a freegan, check out their event tomorrow in Chelsea.

Thurs, July 31 - Freeganism 101 - Join us for a presentation and Q&A introducing freeganism, followed by a trash tour exploring the massive amount of usable food and other goods that is wasted every day. Media will NOT be allowed at the event so don’t worry about getting caught on camera. Discussion begins at 7:30pm at Revolution Books, 26th St bet. 6th and 7th Ave. 1 train to 28th street. We’ll leave from there for a trash tour @ 9:30pm
